Terms of Use

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to access and use of American News Network and American News and Information Services probate court coverage, including written summaries, video coverage, subscriber archives, downloadable subscriber copies, transcripts, public-record materials, and related reporting.

By accessing this website or subscriber materials, you agree to these Terms of Use.

News Coverage Purpose

American News Network and American News and Information Services provide independent news coverage of authorized public probate court proceedings. Subscriber access supports lawful recording, editing, secure hosting, archiving, public-record research, and public-interest reporting.

Hearing videos and related materials are provided as part of ANIS news coverage. They are not sold as private commodities.

Court Authorization

Probate court hearings are recorded and published only when authorized by the court, permitted by court order, or otherwise allowed under applicable court rules and law.

ANIS may remove, restrict, redact, or delay publication of any material if required by court order, applicable law, privacy concerns, safety concerns, or editorial judgment.

Subscriber Access

Subscriber access is limited to the authorized subscriber or authorized users listed on the account.

Subscribers may not share login credentials, subscriber-only links, downloaded videos, transcripts, or archive materials with unauthorized persons.

ANIS may monitor account activity, including login activity, download activity, IP address information, device information, and usage patterns, to protect subscriber-only materials and prevent unauthorized sharing.

Downloadable Subscriber Copies

Where downloads are permitted, downloaded copies are licensed only for the subscriber’s personal news, research, legal, educational, or public-interest review.

Downloaded subscriber copies may include visible or invisible watermarking identifying the subscriber account, download date, and other access information.

Prohibited Uses

Users may not:

Repost, resell, redistribute, upload, publish, or broadcast subscriber-only materials without written permission from ANIS.

Share passwords, login credentials, or subscriber-only links.

Use subscriber materials for harassment, intimidation, threats, retaliation, stalking, doxing, or unlawful conduct.

Alter, edit, manipulate, or misrepresent ANIS video, transcripts, summaries, or reporting.

Use ANIS materials in violation of any court order, sealing order, confidentiality restriction, protective order, or applicable law.

Use automated scraping, downloading tools, bots, or other methods to copy or extract website content.

Attempt to bypass paywalls, access controls, download limits, watermarking, or security protections.

Account Misuse

Unauthorized sharing or misuse may result in suspension or termination of access, removal of download privileges, denial of future subscriptions, and assessment of additional licensing fees where permitted by law.

ANIS reserves the right to investigate suspicious account activity and take reasonable action to protect subscriber-only materials and the integrity of its news archive.

No Legal Advice

ANIS coverage, summaries, commentary, videos, transcripts, and public-record reporting are provided for news and informational purposes only. They are not legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.

Accuracy, Corrections, and Updates

ANIS seeks to provide accurate news coverage and summaries. However, court proceedings, filings, orders, and case statuses may change.

Requests for correction, clarification, redaction, or review may be submitted to ANIS for consideration. ANIS may update, correct, remove, restrict, or supplement materials at its discretion.

Privacy and Sensitive Proceedings

Probate proceedings may involve sensitive issues, including estates, conservatorships, incapacity claims, family disputes, financial matters, elder issues, and fiduciary conduct.

ANIS may limit publication, redact information, delay posting, or restrict access when privacy, safety, court authorization, applicable law, or editorial judgment requires it.

Ownership and License

The website, written summaries, video presentation, archive organization, transcripts created by or for ANIS, commentary, graphics, page design, and related materials are owned or controlled by ANIS, except for public records or third-party materials that remain subject to their own legal status.

Subscriber access provides a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to view and, where permitted, download subscriber materials. It does not transfer ownership of ANIS content.

No Guarantee of Availability

ANIS does not guarantee that any particular video, hearing, transcript, article, archive item, or subscriber material will remain available permanently. Materials may be removed, restricted, edited, corrected, or made unavailable for legal, technical, editorial, or business reasons.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ANIS is not liable for damages arising from use of the website, inability to access the website, reliance on published materials, account suspension, removal of materials, or misuse of subscriber materials by others.

Changes to These Terms

ANIS may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the website or subscriber materials after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
