American News and Information Services Inc. is proud to announce that our privately owned and operated Media Center at 15 Burlington Road, (Route 4), in Harwinton, Connecticut is currently capable of transmitting live programs to YouTube Facebook and Twitter/Periscope for viewing by a worldwide audience.

The Media Center is located in the same building as the Law Office of Attorney Rachel M. Baird who has recently been a major program participant, sponsor and co-host.

American News acquired and currently has a variety of devices for transmitting 1080p HD video signals from a camera tablet or cell phone to YouTube, Facebook, Periscope and other video services in real-time.

American News is looking for individuals interested in acquiring experience in video production and computer editing at the media center studio.

The inaugural program  “SUMMARY JUDGMENT” was transmitted from the new Internet Media Center on December 19, 2015, along with the new “MORNING REPORT” which is transmitted Monday – Thursday mornings from 7 to 7:30 am.

SUMMARY JUDGMENT” is hosted by Attorney Rachel M. Baird, Attorney and (Retired) Connecticut State Police Lt. Colonel Matt Tyszka and Edward Peruta

Summary Judgment is LIVE on Saturdays between 4 and 6 pm, to provide viewers the opportunity to call in to the program, and participate in real time discussions on a variety of timely topics.

American News has a long history of producing Public Access and Leased Access cable programming on a variety of interesting, informative and sometimes colorful topics.

With the current ability to transmit a variety of live video programs to every electronic device with a connection to the internet, dedicated YouTube channels were set up, and along with our Internet Media Studio.

American News, with the support of Attorney Rachel M. Baird, created a community resource that is currently available for use by government agencies, as well as private companies or individuals.

American News will attempt to provide others with the opportunity to communicate through the use of live and recorded video and the internet.

The Media Center is located in the same building as the Law Office of Attorney Rachel M. Baird who has recently been a major participant, sponsor and co-host of the previously mentioned live cable access call in show “SUMMARY JUDGMENT”.

In the future, American News will offer a variety of opportunities to government officials and business sponsors along with private groups and individuals the opportunity to utilizing our privately owned and operated community studio environment.

Similar to public access facilities which is available in cable franchise areas, the American News Internet Media Center will be made available on a scheduled basis to key public officials, with priority given to elected and appointed public officials in the studio’s surrounding communities.

As part of our plan to offer time in our studio, local public safety groups such as Fire Departments and Volunteer Ambulance Associations will be offered priority use of our Media Center for live or recorded programs that may assist in their training and recruitment efforts.
